ABOUT THE EVENT

Combining adventure and learning, Big Cypress Celebration features a variety of hikes led by experienced guides. Participants of all ages enjoy live music, nature-based activities, and more. This year, we’re marking a special milestone: October 10 falls the day before Big Cypress turns 52, and Gator Nate is back to help us celebrate.

SCHEDULE / PROGRAM

Guided hikes depart every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in small groups of 10 participants.

Live Music

Enjoy live entertainment by Gator Nate, Florida’s self-proclaimed “wildest one-man band,” performing his signature blend of homegrown swamp blues and country funk.

What to Wear

Please be prepared for the possibility of water on the trail. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that can get wet, along with old sneakers. Bring a change of clothes and shoes.
