ABOUT THE EVENT
Bring the whole family for a day of adventure and exploration at Burns Lake Campground in Big Cypress National Preserve. Featuring guided hikes, live music, art activities, face painting, and fun for all ages. There's something for everyone to enjoy! This year's event is especially exciting, as October 10 comes just before Big Cypress celebrates its 52nd anniversary, and Gator Nate will be joining the festivities to help celebrate.

Guided hikes depart every 30 minutes from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, in small groups of 10 participants.

Enjoy live entertainment by Gator Nate, Florida’s self-proclaimed “wildest one-man band,” performing his signature blend of homegrown swamp blues and country funk.
What to Wear
Please be prepared for the possibility of water on the trail. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that can get wet, along with old sneakers. Bring a change of clothes and shoes.
